SQLearn participated in the “2nd Cyprus Shipping ICT Conference” and gained positive impressions while presenting new technologies in e-learning. Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications are changing the field of maritime training as they can simulate a real event and SQLearn, one of the greatest e-learning providers in shipping, invests in these technologies including blockchain for certificates validation.
The Cyprus Shipping ICT Conference is under the auspices of the Cyprus Shipping Deputy Ministry and is supported by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Cyprus Union of Shipowners, Cyprus Marine Club, CYMEPA, WISTA Cyprus, YoungShip Cyprus, The Nautical Institute, and AMMITEC of Greece. The event took place on 14.10.2021 at the Carob Mill Conference Centre with a physical presence, where together with key industry experts from industry bodies, shipowners, ship managers, service providers, and equipment manufacturers we looked at the operational aspects impacting this sector.
