SQLearn’s e-learning system and CBT modules in the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia!
The e-Learning system that SQLearn provides free of charge for the next three years to all ten Merchant Marine Academies (MMA) in Greece, within the content of the cooperation with the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy was presented on Friday 20th of April 2018 in the MMA of Macedonia to more than 200 students.
The e-learning platform https://aen.sqlearn.com has already been presented in the MMAs in Chios (25/1), in Aspropyrgos (14/2), in Kymi (27/2), in Epirus (15/3), in the Ionian Islands (16/3) and the rest of the MMAs will follow.
The presentation of the system took place in the presence of the Director of Marine Training of Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy Stylianos Bellas, the Commander of the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia Cpt Panagiotis Tzouanos, the Directors of MMA of Macedonia Giorgos Gotzamanis and Nikolaos Tsoulis, the CEO of SQLearn Spyros Goumas, the representatives of the company Theta Marine Consulting, which provided the primary material, Cpt Ioannis Theodorakas and Vassileios Papazoglou and the Vice Governor of the Region of Central Macedonia Konstantinos Pallas.
This e-learning programme is of great importance for the continuing training of seafarers in order to be well prepared for their future careers, as it is a digital tool that boosts the learning procedure.
Through the platform, which SQLearn has developed in cooperation with Theta Marine Consulting, students can attend digital courses that cover international, national and flag requirements and include topics in the fields of safety, technical subjects, incident reports (lessons learnt) and other. SQLearn’s solutions for e-learning, the learning management system and the e-learning courses are certified by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping).
